I bought some of this as souvenir yarn from a little shop on Inis Mor and knitted a sleeveless pullover from it. The yarn is coarse and “crunchy,” definitely not next-to-skin soft, but just the kind of wool that you want for outer garments that will wear like iron and never pill. If you like Icelandic Lopi, you’ll know what I mean!
